Mothers United Against Violence is a faith-based organization that has been dedicated on helping out the community get through the biggest ongoing pandemic, which is gun violence. The amount of unwanted violence is hurting the community and causing a rift throughout Connecticut.
Mothers United Against Violence had an AMAZING year in 2024 and have touched a lot of families. We have made a dent into stopping violence and healing mothers, who have had their loved ones taken away. We as an organization are so thankful for everything you all have done to support us.

Today 15 years after it's emergence, Mother's United Against Violence the organization is a 501c3, a not for profit and providing services throughout the greater Hartford region.
Mothers United Against Violence was founded by Reverend Henry Brown and Henrietta Beckman in November 2003 out of the need to provide support and compassion for the families who have lost children and family members due to violence in the community.
The organization now focuses on compassion and support for families, gun violence prevention efforts, Circle of Compassion, advocacy which includes marches, Remembrance Day, Youth Development Programs and many more support efforts for the community.
