Based in the North End of Hartford, our services strive to elevate the voices of
mothers and families who have lost a loved one due to preventable physical
and structural violence. We provide a holistic, faith-based approach that
respects families’ right to privacy and provides safe spaces for the families
impacted by violence to gather, heal and provide mutual support to one-another. Our goal is to improve the long-term health, safety, self-sufficiency, resilience and empowerment of victims, families, and the community.
Our conference is the day we honor our survivors and provide a day of health and wellness centered entirely around the families.
Today 15 years after it's emergence, Mother's United Against Violence the organization is a 501c3, a not for profit and providing services throughout the greater Hartford region.
