Our Annual Remembrance Day is a very significant as we honor our loved ones who have been taken from us by violence. We celebrate their lives along with their families by breaking bread and coming together. This invitation is always extended to the community as well.

Unresolved Case Forums
Circle of Compassion was designed to provide the dedicated support and compassion specifically for the mothers and other family members who have had children and/ or other that have been taken by violence. We offer a safe space, so they are able to grief and express themselves.

"I’m personally grateful for Mother’s United Against Violence for creating and hosting this Unresolved Case Forum in collaboration with the Hartford Police Dept.’s Homicide Detectives. The important ongoing relationship and communication between the Detectives, Mother’s United Against Violence (MUAV), and the families of victims and/or survivors is critical to our emotional and mental wellbeing. Allowing us to come together at a neutral & convenient location is desperately needed & appreciated.
